Nico Mario Chartrand, was raised in the town of Temiskaming Shores, Ontario. By the age of 8 he has had taught himself to play the guitar by ear. Nico has a very strong musical background and impressive resume which includes; studying under the mentorship of WU-TANG CLAN associates while part of the Music Industry Arts and Performance program at Centennial College, Toronto. Forming an RnB/Rap group that was signed to ATTACK MUSIC GROUP under Platinum Award winning record producer Mark S. Berry. And in 2022, co-writing with the songwriters behind the classic 1993 film “Cool Runnings. This collaboration was featured in the official anthem for the Jamaican Bobsled Team during the Olympic Winter Games in Beijing which aired internationally. Nico recently reconnected with former bandmates from Highschool, this team created his current backing band who he is now performing with.
